DUnveiled on August 15 by the Shanghai Ranking Consultancy organization, the list of the 1000 best universities in the world does not contain any Moroccan university.
Once again, Anglo-Saxon hegemony continues. American universities dominate the ranking. Harvard, Stanford and Massachusetts Institute of Technology are successively in the top 3 this year with the University of Cambridge falling from third place in 2021 to fourth this year.
The first non-Anglo-Saxon university in the ranking is Paris-Saclay University, which ranks 16e position.
