Testing, tracing and quarantine might integrate our Covid barometer.
The Interministerial Health Conference has made a decision and decided to offer the possibility of a second booster, that is to say a 3rd dose of vaccine, to people who have received the single-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson (Janssen), i.e. nearly 426,000 people in Belgium.
“It’s a pragmatic decision”, Judge Sabine Stordeur, co-responsible for the Vaccination Task Force. “P To estimate that this primary vaccination is complete, many scientific studies have shown that following a single vaccination, immunity drops more quickly, so a booster dose is offered with Johnson and Johnson.” Another change recorded by the CIM, the protocol to follow in the event of a return to Belgian territory. “It has been decided that for those who come or return to Belgian soil for short stays of less than 48 hours, there will no longer be any test or quarantine obligations (for those who have a PCR test, a vaccination certificate or certificate of recovery)”adds Christopher Barzal, spokesperson for the Vaccination Task Force.
