No more big cravings for Andrei Kuzmenko

Andrei Kuzmenko will soon begin his second season in a Vancouver Canucks uniform and he has decided to change one thing in particular: his diet.

In comments relayed by the Sportsnet network, the 27-year-old striker admitted to having succumbed to big cravings last year. His physical form was so poor that during the season he had to do a special program on a bike or in the gym to keep up.

“Last season was very bad for me, my weight,” Kuzmenko said. Now I’m losing weight. Last summer I [mangé] lots of waffles.”

On these famous waffles, Kuzmenko added Nutella, raspberries and bananas. However, this type of gap seems well and truly behind him.
