No Man’s Sky: a ton of new features with the Sentinal update


Barely a few days following the announcement of its port on Nintendo Switch, No Man’s Sky deploy the new update Sentinalavailable now, which brings a ton of new features… and new robots!

Content added with Sentinal mainly focuses on refining the combat system by adding new weapons, such as neutron cannons, stun grenades and more, as well as new armor systems.

Moreover, the new update brings something completely different! Although robots were already present in No Man’s Skynew sentry types have been added.

We now find drones, combat or repair, for example, as well as parts for your new exomech. Finally, a Hardframe Battle Mech has been added. It is a large mech equipped with a jetpack and a multitude of weapons to choose from, only found around high security buildings.

Optimized for the Steam Deck

In the very long list of notes for this updatewe learn that the exploration game has been optimized and will be ready for the launch of Valve’s Steam Deck, including improvements such as touchscreen support.
