The echoes of the crisis of the Moroccan artist Saad Lamjarred’s concert, which will be held in Sharm El-Sheikh on the 29th of this December, are still reverberating so far, as campaigns have spread to demand its cancellation due to the harassment and rape cases that he was accused of.

For his part, the secretary of the Syndicate of Musical Professions revealed, Ahmed Abul Magd, In statements to “An-Nahar” that the organizing party had applied for a special permit for the party.

He confirmed that the union had agreed to the matter, given that he met all the conditions, and that there were no violations with the union or the issuance of a criminal ruling condemning him.

It is certain that this decision will anger the masses, who demanded the cancellation of the concert, as it is the third time that the abstract has been exposed to such a crisis in Egypt.

It is expected that Lamjarred will hold a press conference hours before the concert to announce his new artistic projects, specifically in the Egyptian dialect, following the success of his latest song, “The Throat”, which has achieved wide popularity on social media since its release.
