No, it’s not a video game… Completely crazy overtaking in NASCAR!

You don’t know Ross Chastain? Normal if you are not a fan of motor sports and more particularly of NASCAR. But know that the pilot has just achieved the overtaking of the year! An overflow worthy of video games.

As we approached the last lap of the race on the Martinsville circuit this weekend, the American driver was not well enough placed to qualify for the final of the Nascar Cup which will take place next week. He then played everything for everything by attempting an overtaking never seen before in the NASCAR world.

The driver, at full speed, decided to lean once morest the wall, on the outside of the track, to surprise all his opponents. A crazy technique, which we only thought possible in video games, but which ultimately allowed the American to gain five places in the final standings, going from 10th to 5th place. Thanks to this madness, he thus qualifies for the grand finale of next week!

“I thought ‘why not?’ It’s a motto some buddies and I have at home. We live by that motto, ‘why not?’ I didn’t know how it was going to be. I didn’t know if the laws of physics were going to make it through the bend, but it worked. I’m glad it worked.”commented the American, very happy, at the end of the race.
