No Framework Developed for Rebuilding Saudi-Israeli Relations: Joe Biden Administration

US President Joe Biden’s administration says that no framework has yet been developed for the restoration of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

According to foreign media, the Joe Biden administration says that any agreement regarding the restoration of relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel requires further negotiations. White House spokesman John Kirby denied reports of a US guarantee to restore ties between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The White House spokesman said that the two countries have not yet agreed to exchange a framework for negotiations, and that much more discussion is needed.

The spokesperson of the White House said that there is no agreement between the two countries for negotiations yet, while no framework has been prepared regarding the agreement on the restoration of relations, nor is there any guarantee in this regard.

The spokesman added that the Israeli Prime Minister and the American President will meet at the end of this year, but there are no further details in this regard. It should be noted that Saudi Arabia allowed Israeli flights to use Saudi airspace during the US President’s visit last year.

In this regard, the report of the world journal said that an agreement has been reached for the use of Saudi airspace for Israeli flights, after which flights from Asian countries to Israel will not need to make a long detour.

In addition, some Muslim countries, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, have restored relations with Israel.
