He added: ‘We not only checked the records of the government hospital we are in, but also checked the records of the private hospital. This revealed that none of the raped girls were admitted to this hospital.’

He said in the statement that ‘the interesting thing is that the private hospital whose name is being taken does not deal with medico-legal cases, but even in the emergency of this hospital, such a case was not dealt with. After checking all the destinations of this hospital, it has come to light that the alleged victim did not go to this private hospital.

Similarly, he said in another video statement that ‘If anyone has evidence of abuse, bring it forward. He appealed that people should not abuse anyone on false news.’

In a statement released on Tuesday, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that if any citizen has any information regarding the alleged incident, inform the Virtual Women Police Station.

According to the spokesperson: ‘Citizens can contact the virtual women police station by calling 15 or through the Women Safety app. The name of the informant will be kept confidential.

On the other hand, DIG Operations Lahore Faisal Kamran also held a press conference on Monday. In which he said that ‘no trace of the girl who was allegedly raped or her family has been found so far and no evidence has been found so far while all the CCTV footage of the college is also with the police. ‘

High Level Committee

On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also formed a seven-member high-powered committee to investigate the case further.

The chief secretary of the province has been appointed as the convener of this high-level committee, while in addition to him, the secretary of home, higher education, health, special education and other officials will be members of the committee.

Student protest continues

Director of private college of Lahore, Agha Tahir Ejaz, also issued a statement on social media platforms in which he said that the college administration not only on the day on which this incident is being reported, but also for seven days before that. He said that the college administration called the homes of all the students who were absent from the college that day, but all those students were absent from the college based on their personal reasons, while the names of the girls are being taken in this case. He said that after the news came out on social media, the college administration checked all the hospitals and even different police stations, but no such case was reported anywhere.
