Eurostar cancels all high-speed trains from London to Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels and vice versa on Saturday due to flooding. This concerns a total of 41 trains. As a result, thousands of travelers have been stranded.
On Saturday morning, trains were no longer running due to flooding in a tunnel tube under the Thames in London. This included a train from London to Amsterdam and a train from Amsterdam to London.
At 4:45 p.m. another train was supposed to leave Amsterdam for the British capital, but it is not running either. It is still unknown when the trains will start running once more. According to Eurostar, the situation in the tunnel has not yet improved.
British media write that the tunnel near Ebbsfleet International station flooded as a result of the severe weather in the United Kingdom.
