Sarwendah has returned to Indonesia after a vacation and undergoing plastic surgery on her face. Many wonder if the former Cherrybelle girlband member paid for the plastic surgery costs on her own or through endorsements?
When approached in the Transmedia area, Sarwendah clarified that she covered all the operation expenses with her own money. She also refuted claims that the surgery was sponsored by the hospital she visited yesterday.
“Honestly, there have been many endorsement offers, I can’t deny that, but if I’m paying for it, why endorse it,” Sarwendah said during the meeting in the Transmedia area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/7/2024).
Sarwendah admitted that she was tempted to accept the endorsements. However, she emphasized the importance of not taking such decisions lightly, especially when it concerns her appearance.
“Yes, who wouldn’t be enticed by endorsements, of course there are temptations, but when it comes from your hard-earned money, it brings more confidence,” she added.
Despite this, the mother of three mentioned that she did receive a discount from the hospital where she had the procedure done.
“Yes, because they know I’m a public figure, they offered me a discount, although it wasn’t significant,” she mentioned again.

“While endorsements are tempting, there is a sense of pride in knowing that I worked hard to afford this transformation,” she added.
The mother of three also shared that the hospital provided her with a discount due to her celebrity status, albeit a modest one.
“The hospital acknowledged my profession and offered me a slight discount as a gesture. Nevertheless, the majority of the expenses were covered privately,” Sarwendah explained.
