Déthié Fall, national representative of Yewwi Askan Wi, announces that no appeal has finally been filed at the level of the Constitutional Council. “ It is not at the level of the Constitutional Council that these three deputies will be returned to us he says.
The inter-coalition has also announced that it will not participate in the election of members of the High Council of Territorial Communities, scheduled for September 4th.
Cheikh Tidiane Dièye, from Yewwi Askan Wi, explains the reasons: In the program of legislatures, it was clearly mentioned that if we are in the majority in the National Assembly, we would proceed with the dissolution of the HCCT. The Yewwi – Wallu coalition does not boycott an election but wants to remain consistent in its approach. »
The leaders also took the opportunity to propose to the three deputies from the small coalitions but also to the deputies of the presidential coalition Benno Bokk Yaakar, to join them in order to form a majority in the National Assembly.
