No Apology, No Penny: M.V. Swapna’s Firm Response to Govindan’s Legal Notice

Swapna Suresh, who is accused in the gold smuggling case, has responded to a lawyer’s notice sent by CPM state secretary MV Govindan demanding compensation in the defamation case. Swapna has stated that she will not apologize and will not pay any compensation. Her lawyer R Krishnaraj has prepared a detailed reply letter.

In response to the notice, Swapna has stated that she is ready to face any legal action related to the defamation case. She explained that all the information on Facebook Live was clearly communicated in Malayalam and nowhere did it say that Vijay Pillai was sent by MV Govindan. She also clarified that neither was it mentioned that MV Govindan was contacted through Vijay Pillai. She added that the accusation was made without clearly understanding what was said.

Furthermore, Swapna emphasized that it was not said that Govinda or his family was related to Vijay Pillai. She stated that she is waiting for filing the case by paying 10 percent of the court fee of Rs.
