Nizar Baraka meets his Senegalese counterpart

On the occasion of a meeting held this Wednesday in Senegal, the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, congratulated his Senegalese counterpart, Serigne Mbaye Thiam, for the excellent organization of the World Forum of water, and welcomed the Dakar Declaration as well as the Action Plan that resulted from the Ministerial Segment of Monday, March 21, reads a press release issued by the Moroccan ministry.

According to the same source, the main exchanges between the two Ministers essentially focused on the means of strengthening bilateral cooperation ties in the field of water and sanitation, by relaunching exchanges on both sides, in particular through the sharing of experience and expertise, the provision of technical assistance and training.

For his part, the Senegalese Minister welcomed Nizar Baraka and his entire delegation, and thanked him for Morocco’s support and backing for the organization of the Forum, particularly the Hassan World Grand Prize. II of Water, which was granted during this 7th edition to the Pan-African Association OMVS, and which reinforces the actions of Morocco aimed at the development of South-South cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister wished to congratulate his Senegalese counterpart for his Presidency of the OMVS and invited him to pay a working visit to Morocco, we conclude.
