YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan today unveiled the Nissan Hyper Punk, the fourth in a series of concept cars that will be physically displayed at the Japan Mobility Show on October 25.
From today until October 25th – the opening day of the Show – the 3D digital billboard Cross Shinjuku Vision, located in the Shinjuku neighborhood, in Tokyo, will display the four electric concepts, the Nissan Hyper Urban, the Nissan Hyper Adventure, the Nissan Hyper Tourer and the Nissan Hyper Punk.
Furthermore, from this day forward, the concept cars will be available in the Fortnite* online video game, titled “Electrify the World”, allowing everyone to explore and enjoy the special vehicles.
Offering a seamless connection between the inner and outer, virtual and physical worlds, the Nissan Hyper Punk is a next-generation crossover that inspires self-expression in all worlds. The concept’s V2X (vehicle-to-everything) system allows users to recharge their devices anytime, anywhere, and can also share the vehicle’s power with people they are working collaboratively with and at local community events.
Inside, elements inspired by the manual art of origami reflect Japanese design, creating a space where art and the digital universe merge. For example, onboard cameras can capture images of the vehicle’s surroundings and use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to convert them into graphic patterns or car-style scenes. manga, according to the owner’s wishes. The design’s superior aerodynamic performance and bold, imposing style that is anything but minimalist represent the user’s desire for self-expression, to break away from conventional norms and showcase Nissan’s progressive strategy of introducing new technologies and design ideas.
With a highly stable design, compact overhang and large 23-inch wheels, this versatile concept is ideal for both city and off-road use. The headlights, taillights and rear lighting signature highlight polygonal shapes and are integrated into the body surface, further enhancing this unique vehicle.
