Shanghai – Nissan highlights at Auto Shanghai 2023 a wide range of electrified and connected vehicles, which aim to exceed consumer expectations. Debuts include two electric car concepts: the Max-Out convertible sports car, which makes its debut in China, and the Arizon SUV, which makes its world debut and is designed to meet China’s diverse mobility needs.

The X-Trail e-POWER – which is also being presented at the fair – has started to be pre-sold in the eastern market.

Nissan Chief Operating Officer and Chief Performance Officer (COO/CPO) Ashwani Gupta says, “China is one of the most technologically sophisticated markets in the world. Market and customer needs are rapidly changing, making China a global driver of electrification as well as a leader in connected car services. There is a need for greater electrification and advanced sustainability in the market, and we are working hard to meet it.”

Arizona: an exhilarating electric vehicle experience

The Arizon concept, created by a Chinese team leveraging Nissan’s global electric vehicle (EV) experience, is designed to serve as a multifunctional partner for drivers in China. Bringing an exciting new EV experience to China, the Arizon has a striking exterior design and a richly appointed cabin that exudes a warm, high-tech glow. Built on the CMF EV platform, the Arizon features a low center of gravity and a spacious, pillarless cabin with a large auto-dimming glass roof.

Designed to be human-centric, Arizon features a new virtual personal assistant called Eporo that elevates the driving experience beyond mobility. Eporo can interact with passengers in a human way and provide accurate responses using weather, weather and other data.

Arizona also has an innovative interactive lighting system that recognizes people and automatically adapts the lighting to suit your preferences. The lighting environment can also be adjusted through intuitive modes, including leisure, relaxation, sleep and surprise, providing high-level hospitality and with personalized and integrated interactions.

The Arizon concept was envisioned in China for Chinese customers looking for a customized solution. Nissan has taken the vehicle experience beyond mobility with a software-defined vehicle approach. New levels of connectivity and integration will allow our vehicles to blend digital and physical realities.

Max-Out: The Future of EV Performance

It embodies Nissan’s new artistic stage and movement towards an increasingly digitized future, as expressed by its unique parabolic hologram wheels.

This sleek sports car’s aerodynamic shape, ultra-low center of gravity and e-4ORCE electric all-wheel drive system provide excellent handling and enhanced safety. The cabin’s ultra-wide screen, which resembles the Max-Out’s distinctive exterior lamps, offers the driver a fusion of the virtual and real worlds.

Max-Out represents the future of Nissan Ambition 2030, the company’s long-term vision announced in 2021. It aims to expand the possibilities of mobility and society, providing experiences that inspire trust and emotion and allow for closer connections between people and society in general.

X-Trail: aventura e-POWER

The all-new X-Trail e-POWER crossover is the result of one of the redesigns of one of the most comprehensive models in Nissan’s history. Your pre-sale on the market today. Featuring cutting-edge technologies such as the second-generation e-POWER electric powertrain and e-4ORCE, the X-Trail delivers a powerful yet quiet, smooth and stable driving experience.

Gupta says: “At Nissan, we are working to create a future where cars are electrified and seamlessly connected to the world around them. A future where you feel safer in your vehicle and feel more peace of mind when your children reach driving age. A future beyond mobility, where vehicles are a solution to energy and social issues.”
