Nissan Futures showcases innovations in sustainable mobility

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. is presenting the Nissan Futures event, to demonstrate how the Nissan brand is building the future of sustainable mobility and design innovations, in its space Gallerylocated at the company’s global headquarters, from February 4 to March 1.

As part of the event’s launch, Nissan today unveiled a physical concept model of its Max-Out convertible electric vehicle. The model was previously presented in a virtual version, as part of the Nissan Ambition 2030 vision announced in November 2021. The Max-Out – which will be on display throughout the event – ​​illustrates Nissan’s ambition to promote greater access to sustainable mobility and innovations .

The Nissan Futures event will feature interactive customer activations, expert panel discussions and multiple exhibits to showcase its innovations in electrification, vehicle intelligence, energy management, vehicle battery reuse and much more. It will also be possible to participate in activations and discussion panels virtually.

Concept-Convertible Max-Out

Built on the concept of acting in unison with the car, the Nissan Max-Out is a two-seater convertible to deliver a liberating feeling by enhancing the dynamic experience behind the wheel. Max-Out showcases Nissan’s innovations in developing a wide range of advanced and impactful vehicles, with a clear vision of how they can benefit both people and society.

Expert Panel Discussions on V2X and Battery Reuse

Guests can learn more regarding the initiatives undertaken by the company for more than a decade in the area of ​​battery reuse and V2X (vehicle for everything, Vehicle-to-Everything), through two panel discussions on February 21 with experts from Nissan and partner companies. These discussions will explore how Nissan is leading the industry through its work with partners to prepare for the many challenges and opportunities that will come with the imminent large-scale transition to electric mobility.

Talk 4 Futures weekly panel discussions

Nissan is working to engage stakeholders who can provide new and diverse views on topics such as sustainability, economics, innovation and culture. Through the Talk 4 Futures panel discussions, Nissan aims to open an open dialogue with influencers – including experts and Gen Z consumers – each week starting at 1:30 pm on Saturday (Japan time) in its Gallery space located at the headquarters company overall.
