RIO DE JANEIRO – Nissan do Brasil received yet another recognition from Great Place to Work, a global consultancy specialized in diagnosing and transforming organizational culture. This time, the Japanese car manufacturer was elected as one of the best companies to work for in Paraná.

Among the 356 companies registered in the Paraná ranking, 125 were awarded. The research to create the ranking of the best companies considered data from the assessment carried out in 2022, carried out in two stages. The first, quantitative, took into account the grades and evaluations given by employees of each company in the Great Place to Work survey, which is carried out anonymously and voluntarily. And once the conditions of the first stage were met, the company moved on to the phase of evaluating cultural practices. Nissan ranked 67th.

This year, Nissan received Great Place to Work certification in Brazil – also in Argentina, Chile and Peru – for the second year in a row. Furthermore, it was ranked as the 13th best company to work for in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in the ranking of 75 award-winning companies in the state, with emphasis on its employees’ emotional health programs.

“We are very happy with this recognition from Great Place to Work. For some years now, our company has been undergoing a cultural transformation with a focus on promoting well-being, innovation and enthusiasm, in a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment, where all employees can develop and feel fulfilled and motivated. to deliver your best”, explains Lívia Filgueiras, senior Human Resources manager at Nissan do Brasil.

Internship Opportunities

For those interested in taking their first professional steps with the company, Nissan has vacancies open for its new Internship Program. In the state of Paraná, there are 16 vacancies to work at the company’s unit in Curitiba. There are also internship opportunities at the Nissan Industrial Complex in Resende (RJ) and at the company’s units in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), São Paulo (SP), Jundiaí (SP), totaling 88 vacancies across the country.

This year, the Japanese manufacturer aims to allocate 80% of vacancies to young talents from minority groups, thus ensuring a selection with a strong perspective of gender, physical disability and racial diversity, in addition to also considering universities further away from urban centers. Another novelty of this edition is that selected students will have the opportunity to follow “a trail of knowledge” during the two years of the internship through a robust skills development and mentoring program, which will culminate in the delivery of improvement projects in their areas of activity within the company.
