Rio de Janeiro – Nissan broke a record by celebrating the opening of 37 new stores with the brand’s global concept in the last fiscal year, which ended in March 2022. With that, the Japanese manufacturer reached 60% of the network already operating with the standard Nissan Retail Concept (NRC), which aims to offer a differentiated experience in design and customer service.

In the 116 dealerships spread throughout Brazil, already in the NRC concept, Nissan makes its high quality service tangible to consumers, consistent with the brand’s global guidelines, including the design of the facilities, the service processes and the entire digitalization part.

“We want to exceed the expectations of customers who come to our stores looking for a new car or after-sales service for their Nissan models. That is why we are renovating our entire network to offer the best experience to consumers, from the moment they arrive at the dealerships to the most exciting moment of delivering a new vehicle”, says Rodolfo Possuelo, Commercial Director of Nissan do Brasil.

besides the Nissan Retail ConceptNissan has also been betting on new dealership formats, such as the Nissan Express Contact (NEC), a boutique store that offers a smaller-than-usual showroom and routine maintenance services, with a focus on serving customers where they are with high convenience and speed. Currently, the Nissan network has eight dealerships in this model: Vipcar Rio do Sul (SC), Auto Oriente Olinda (PE), DrSul Lajeado (RS), Acelera Guaratinguetá (SP), Nikai Arapiraca (AL), Seijin Campos dos Goytacazes ( RJ), Tangará da Serra (MT) and Primavera do Leste (MT), the latter two of which were recently opened in the state of Mato Grosso, thus improving the presence of our brand in the region.

Nissan Retail Concept

Nissan has launched a new retail concept at its dealerships around the world to improve customer service through an experience consistent with global brand standards, in response to diversifying expectations and lifestyles.

The new concept aims to improve all aspects of the customer experience at Nissan dealerships, including facility design, service processes and the digital environment.

Dealerships aligned with the NRC concept feature several new design elements, such as Nissan’s signature red exterior signage and a dedicated drop-off area that highlights the exciting moment when customers receive the vehicle.

Customers will also be able to learn more about Nissan cars through a digital configurator and navigate the service process on sales team tablets.

The NRC standard also incorporates key elements of the Nissan brand, such as Nissan Intelligent Mobility, electric vehicles, light commercial vehicles and the NISMO spin-off brand, which is dedicated to high-performance cars.
