Nissan Argentina starts exporting Frontier to Colombia

Buenos Aires – Just one year following the announcement of the opening of new export markets, Nissan Argentina is shipping the first units of its pickup truck to Colombia.

“This new milestone is the result of great teamwork aimed at continuing to grow Nissan in South America in line with increased production and exports. In line with the commitments assumed by the Japanese company at a global level, within the scope of its Green Program 2022, the pickup exported to Colombia, as well as the one that will be exported to Chile, is produced in accordance with the Euro 6 emission standards, which implies a significant reduction of polluting gases and particles.

Nissan has had a manufacturing operation in Argentina since 2018, as a result of investments of more than US$730 million. Since its launch, the pickup has undergone constant evolution both in Argentina and in Brazil, a country to which exports began just 2 months following the start of production.
