Nissan announces changes to Marketing structure in Brazil and South America

São Paulo – As part of nurturing internal talent, leadership in customer satisfaction and continuous improvement for sustainable growth, Nissan promoted Humberto Gómez, current Director of Marketing at Nissan do Brasil, to Senior Director of Marketing and Sales at Nissan South America. In his place, the company announces the arrival of Mauricio Greco as Marketing Director at Nissan do Brasil.

Humberto, who has been with Nissan since 2014, has over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, with experience in the areas of Marketing, Export, Product Planning and Sales. The executive holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering from the Technological and Higher Studies Center of Monterrey, Mexico, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Humberto replaces Ricardo Flammini, who was named President and Managing Director of Nissan Argentina in January.

“Over the years, Humberto has made an enormous contribution to Nissan in the various roles he has held and this new appointment will be an opportunity to continue to position Nissan as one of the three most admired automotive brands in the region. At the same time, Nissan do Brasil now has the great experience of Mauricio Greco, who will certainly join forces with our team to further boost the brand in the Brazilian market”, commented Guy Rodriguez, President and Managing Director of Nissan South America.

Mauricio Greco joins Nissan following more than 25 years of experience in the automotive sector, in the areas of Strategy and Marketing. The executive, who will lead the Marketing area in Brazil, focuses on Consumer Experience, Product Portfolio Management and Brand Positioning. Mauricio holds a degree in Information Technology from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
