Nio García: “They deceived me with falsehoods and lies”

This morning, a lawsuit was filed in the Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida where the urban artist Nio Garcia requests the resolution of his record contract with the company, AH Entertainment, Inc., better known in the world artistic, like Flow La Movie Inc.

According to information released through a press release, the company was led since 2016 by executive producer José Hernández, known as “Flow La Movie”, who catapulted Nio’s artistic career, launching musical hits such as “Te Boté Remix” and “AM Remix”, among others.

Hernández died in a plane crash on December 15, 2021. “As a result of the tragedy, it is alleged in the lawsuit that the producer’s mother, Ilianes Ruiz, proclaimed herself president of Flow la Movie and sole heir to her son. However, to date there is no Declaration of Heirs and Mrs. Ruiz intends to disinherit the only surviving daughter of Mr. Hernández”, states the brief.

“The lawsuit alleges that Ms. Ruiz has controlled the operations of Flow La Movie contrary to law in view of the fact that she has not been appointed by the Probate Court as executor of the Estate of Mr. Hernández. Ms. Ruiz is alleged to have done everything in her power to derail Nio Garcia’s music career by causing the company to default on its contractual obligations to the artist. Nio requires the Court to release him from the record contract or in the alternative, dictate the appointment of a suitable person to manage the company and ensure compliance with his contractual obligations, ”she adds.

Through his social networks, Nio García expressed: “I am crazy to release music, but they deceived me with falsehoods and lies.”

The press release adds: “The alleged will of Mr. Hernández presented by Ms. Ruiz to the Probate Court is highly questionable. There is no original document, but a copy which in our opinion was not granted according to law. The law in the state of Florida establishes that when an original will does not exist, it is presumed that the person who prepared the will destroyed and/or revoked it and the situation must be treated as if the will did not exist, ”said the Mr. Edwin Prado, attorney for Nio García. “For that reason, the lawsuit mentions the conflict that exists in the Probate Court of Polk County, FL, between the defendant, Ilianes Ruiz, and the only surviving daughter of Mr. Hernández, Keigelyan Hernández, who is currently fighting for her inheritance, as the sole heiress of Mr. Hernández.”
