We bring an interesting news related to one of the most outstanding games in the Nintendo Switch catalog. We are talking in this case regarding Nintendo Switch Sports.
Nintendo Switch Sports
Specifically, we have learned that, following the removal of update 1.2.1and confirmation of two updates for this week, now Nintendo has already released the first of these updates, which corresponds to the version 1.2.2.
This restores online play and includes the following:
Version 1.2.2: Oct 17, 2022 (Americas) / Oct 18, 2022 (Europe, Japan)
- Fixes issues affecting gameplay causing it to crash during loading before a match.
- Reset the online game.
- When two players started playing together under specific conditions, it would fail to write the save data, effectively corrupting it and causing crashes. If you still have the problem following downloading this update, you will have to wait for the next one (Ver. 1.2.3).
Remember that Nintendo has announced offsets for downtime. This is what was shared:
- The membership period for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be extended by one week.
- From October 18 to November 3, 2022, players will receive double the normal amount of points awarded in-game for playing online.
- Nintendo plans for players to be able to get the weekly items that were lost due to downtime, though it hasn’t detailed how it will do so.
And we also remind you the update scheduled for October 20:
Version 1.2.3: October 19, 2022 (North America) / October 20, 2022 (Europe, Japan)
- Re-enable cloud save for Nintendo Switch Sports
