Fasten your seatbelt, Nintendo is propelling us into a trip nostalgic with three new additions to the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) collection.

Sharing a trailer for what’s new, Nintendo invited players to “relive some of the iconic games that defined the Sega Genesis.”
So we can play Shining Force 2, Space Harrier 2 and the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog Spinballwhich all Genesis players seemed to have at home for some reason.
Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball is a “ball machine” type game (flipper) featuring the world’s fastest hedgehog. Players will have to bounce around the screen in an effort to collect the Chaos Emeralds and save four worlds from Dr. Robotnik.
Shining Force 2 is a strategic combat game, with the air of Zelda who meets Final Fantasyaccompanied by the glory of chiptune from the 90s.
At last, Space Harrier 2 is a rail shooter which transports us to Fantasyland where it will be necessary to destroy the mysterious invader. A very arcade game to try!
These three games are now available on the Sega Genesis emulator of Nintendo Switch Online.
