While the competition buys studios, Nintendo buys land. The builder has just bought 10,000 square meters in Kyoto for 5 billion yen (37 million euros). The goal is to build a 12-story building on it dedicated to R&D which will open in December 2027. Nintendo shared an image of the building in question and given the level of detail, the rendering was probably done on a Switch.
