Video game consoles also have their expiration date. After Sony closed the PS Store on PSP, it’s Nintendo’s turn to announce the end of the eShop on 3DS and Wii U. We already knew that from August 29 it would no longer be possible to add funds to their account through Nintendo eShop Cards. From March 27, 2023, no purchase will also be possible on these two consoles. It will no longer be possible to download free content, such as demos for example. It is also on this date that the download codes will expire. The game servers will remain active, at least for now because we know that this is often the next step when a manufacturer begins to disconnect these old consoles.

Scratching a Netflix account becomes paid
In France, around 10 million households use Netflix. But many use a loved one’s subscription to take advantage of it. The brand knows it and is a bit fed up. It started charging for account sharing in five South American countries: Argentina, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. And it’s on track to come into force around the world, including France. The platform is losing subscribers, and to make up for the lost money, they want to charge for this account sharing. It would concern 100 million households according to Netflix.
