Nintendo agrees to repair Switch Joy-Cons in Europe
And Switzerland is included. The Japanese manufacturer has agreed to take over the operation even out of warranty.

The standoff between the European authorities and Nintendo, the manufacturer of the portable console Switch, has just experienced a favorable outcome for the consumer. Nintendo indeed agrees to support, even outside the warranty period and “until further notice”, the repair of any defective Joy-Con. The Joy-Con being the removable controller that fits on the side of the Switch screen. They go in pairs.

We learn that this commitment concerns a breakdown in particular, the one called “Joy-Con drift” and which has often been talked about for several years and which has often been attributed to a design defect. In the short or medium term, just a few months after the purchase, the joystick of the Joy-Con seems out of calibration which can cause unwanted avatar movements in the game. stick appears centered and at rest so your character persists in moving in one direction.
