The finale of the ninth season of “Ninja Warrior Polska” is in full swing. – I have a suggestion not to say the name “Mount Midoriyama” today. Not to jinx it, said Jerzy Mielewski, who, together with Łukasz “Juras” Jurkowski and Karolina Gilon, announced the competition for the main prize, i.e. a check worth PLN 200,000, a prestigious Shuriken statuette and the title of the first Polish ninja. There was something to fight for!

The stage consisted of the following obstacles: Parkour Run 2.0, Chain Slide, Plank Climb, Springs, Slingshot, Leaning Wall, Ring Route, Spider Jump and Chimney Crossing 2.0.

– I’m happy to be in this final every time. This is already my great sporting success. I hope that this time we will be able to stand on the last platform with dry feet – announced the veteran of the show, Wiktor Wójcik, with hope. The two-time winner of the Last Man Standing title was also the first person in the Polish editions who had the chance to stand in front of Mount Midoriyama. – I’m starting from the very end. Then the thoughts swirl for a very long time. I watch my rivals. My hands start sweating, so it’s a big challenge for my head to stay focused – said the player about the difficulties. During the race, one of the structures did not move at the right moment and the athlete got stuck. – This is a drama we did not want to watch – commented Jerzy Mielewski.

Wiktor Wójcik is the first competitor up the hill

– He didn’t have a chance to stand under Midoriyama yet, although he was one step away – with these words Jerzy Mielewski announced Wiktor Wójcik’s second run. Time passed inexorably and the competitor covered subsequent elements of the track. A moment of rest and track three was within his reach. – Do it, do it! – the commentators cheered. It was worth it! The athlete had the opportunity to climb to the top.

Jan Tatarowicz met expectations

In the seventh edition, this competitor was less than half a second away from winning. After the phenomenal performance of Wiktor Wójcik, Jan Tatrowicz had to cover two tracks in a similar style and with the same effect. – It’s going fast. Let’s hope this rush doesn’t determine mistakes – worried Łukasz Juras Jurkowski. There were nerves, but unnecessarily! The competitor did the same as his predecessor – viewers saw him climbing Mount Midoriyama.

– I accomplished something I had dreamed of for a long time – said Wiktor Wójcik, for whom it was his eighth participation in the show. Was he prepared for such a challenge in the final? – I was practicing the rope, I had the opportunity to climb twenty-one meters, but we’ll see. I won’t reveal how much time I had, he added. Ultimately, the player was very close to winning. – Great pace, but that’s not it yet – said Jerzy Mielewski.

Jan Tatarowicz fulfilled his dream

Second chance for Jan Tatarowicz. It turned out that another show contestant was helping him with his training. – I trained the rope all year long together with Grzesiek Niecko. Sometimes I didn’t feel like training, but he motivated me to push harder and supported me in my preparations. Now I will be able to show my strength, said the 24-year-old. He entered Mount Midoriyama, but when he pressed the buzzer, the red light turned on. The production kept viewers in suspense, checking whether it was on time. Yes! Result passed! The contestant turned out to be the best woman in the program for the third time. – I really don’t believe it. It was a very good year and I can’t wait to see what comes next, said the winner of the Last Woman Standing title.

Jan Tatarowicz was the first Polish ninja warrior

After nine seasons, “Ninja Warrior Polska” finally succeeded! Jan Tatarowicz is officially the winner of the main prize. Eleventh in the world, first in Poland. – I’m very happy that I managed to do it. This is my seventh edition in which I took part. I’ve been preparing for this for a very long time. I would like to thank Grześ, who supported me a lot – said the player. The athlete also shared his personal story: – I lost my dad at the age of nine and my mom at the age of eleven. Then I grew up in a foster family. I came into this program not talking about what life experiences I had. I came to win.
