On the followingnoon of February 27, the Committee for the Advancement of Women – The Women’s Union of Ninh Kieu District held the Ninh Kieu Women’s Charming Contest in 2023, the semi-final round. This is an activity to celebrate the 113th anniversary of International Women’s Day on March 8 and 1983 of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.

Contestants are female education workers, union officials, members, and women living and working in Ninh Kieu district. 29 contestants competed in 2 contents: a costume performance contest and a talent contest through singing and dancing, story telling, presentations, skits, and magic. Content praising the homeland, President Ho Chi Minh, praising Vietnamese women, family affection.
The contest is a healthy and useful playground, creating a favorable environment for women to exchange and participate in mass cultural and artistic activities; sharing experiences, supplementing skills and knowledge, confidently performing their roles in family and society; at the same time honoring the beauty, grace, confidence, loyalty and courage of women.

The final round is expected to take place at 6 pm on March 3 with the performances of Ba Ba and Ao Dai costumes, and behavioral contests.
