Next to the winners and the Armed Forces personnel is the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias who today visited the missile boat “Krystallidis” in the port of Megistis.
Yesterday, Holy Saturday, Mr. Dendias visited the Guard Stations of the area of responsibility of the 95 ADTE, in the island complex of Megistis, accompanied by the Chief of the GETHA General Dimitrios Houpis, the Commander of the ASDEN Lieutenant General Emmanuel Theodorou and the Commander of the 95 ADTE Major General Emmanuel Hatzis.
Mr. Dendias first visited the Strongyli Police Station, where he attended the Mass of the Resurrection at the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos. The Minister exchanged greetings with the executives and soldiers and thanked them for their service to the country.
Afterwards, Mr. Dendias went to the Police Station of Ro, where he also wished the officers and soldiers who serve in it.
During his visit, the Minister of National Defense laid a wreath at the monument of the “Lady of Ro”, Despina Achladiotis.
Mr. Dendias then went to Megisti, where he received him the Mayor Nikos Asvestis and will attend this evening the Mass of the Resurrection at the Holy Church of Agios Constantine and Helen.
