Nikola Jokic Makes NBA History with 30/20/10 Performance in the Finals

The Finals are moving forward, Denver is regaining home field advantage, Miami has just been taken down, and Nikola Jokic continues to have fun. In triple-double average on the Playoffs, the Joker apparently does not have enough since he has just laid us a new masterpiece. 32 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists, this is the first time that such a line of stats has come out in the NBA Finals. We can say, “I was there”.

A 30/20/10 at this stage the competition, it’s just unique and the Joker, he swings it without pressure in just over three quarters. Monstrous, insolent, Jokicesque, All-Time. The worst in history? It doesn’t even feel like the Serb is pushing his basketball even a little bit. 12/21 shooting and complete confidence in his teammates, Niko will only take a shot if he is convinced he has to take it. And unlike Game 3 where he was a little isolated, this time the Nuggets released a great collective performance under the impetus of the Joker and his magical duo with Jamal Murray.

You might say we’re surprised, but in fact the boy released an almost identical performance just a few weeks ago. 32 points, 21 rebounds, 14 assists, opening the Conference Finals once morest the Lakers. Two absolute classics in three weeks, and simply classics on each outing, that’s starting to do a lot. Fortunately for Miami, the pivot of the Nuggets balances statistics, if not hello the state of the boxscore.

Nikola Jokic (32 PTS, 21 REB, 10 AST) continues his remarkable run as Denver wins Game 3 on the road!

Ok it’s unheard of in the NBA Finals, but just in the Playoffs, can we find 30/20/10 in the depths of the Great League? (Except Nikola Jokic’s Game 1 once morest the Lakers.)

The list is quite quick to make since it stops at three names. There’s legend, there’s MVP, there’s pivot… that’s all there is to it. Among this trio, two come from the time of our big brothers, and a new kid, much more contemporary. The founding member of this club is none other than Wilt Chamberlain with a 37/27/11 in the Sixers jersey once morest the Cincinnati Royals in 1967. Quickly followed by… a ROOKIE named Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, or rather Lew Alcindor , and his 38/23/11 once morest the Knicks in 1970. The two giants will wait half a century to see this list grow. Watch out, surprise! Nikola “Joker” Jokic returns to the team in a loss to the Suns despite going 32/20/10.

Not bad for a guy that “needed to prove something” this year. pic.twitter.com/jLtZrgNoGC

So, before the arrival of the Serbian CYBORG, only two guys – and we are talking regarding Top 10 All-Time players – were able to achieve such a performance… but not in the NBA Finals. This is enough to realize the difficulty of such a performance in mondovision and the historical side of what we are witnessing.
