Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, who has the last word?

Tonight the Nuggets face the Bucks at 3am. Nikola Jokic vs Giannis Antetokounmpo, like a taste of MVP trophy racing, and the first of a three-game series that may well decide the winner of the 2023 Michael Jordan Trophy…

Nuggets-Bucks tonight.

Nuggets-Sixers Monday night.

Bucks-Sixers next Sunday.

No need to draw a picture, you will easily understand that these three matches are to be highlighted in red in your diary. For what ? Because Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid are neck and neck to win the 2022-23 MVP trophy, and these confrontations and what will result from them might weigh very heavily in a few weeks in the choice of voters. Today Joel Embiid seems to have put a few millimeters to his competitors but his coach announced that he would not pull the rope, and his two opponents are really stationed at two ends of the Sixers’ pivot. To tell the truth iteveryone has their arguments, from a title of best scorer for Jojo to a triple-double average for Nico, through substantially identical balance sheets (49-24 for the two pivots but… 54-20 for the Freak of the Bucks) .

In short, the three giants are currently walking on a tightrope, and what might be better than a few good bugne-to-bugne duels to get an idea? Answer, nothing, and a piece of advice be in front of your screen tonight at 3 a.m. because the first of these three enormous shocks promises mountains and wonders to our eyes and to the fingers of statisticians. Joel Embiid will face the Suns an hour later, unless he is rested to warm up quietly before his double duel next week. Ladies and gentlemen here is the home straight, and we are going to enjoy it.
