Nikki Garcia Cleans Instagram After Divorce from Artem Chigvintsev: What’s Next?

A new chapter in social media begins for Nikki Garcia, previously recognized as Nikki Bella, as she has taken a striking step to reset her online presence. After finalizing her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev, Nikki made the bold decision to completely wipe her Instagram page of all previous posts, marking a fresh start in her personal and public life.

On Tuesday, November 26, fans were quick to notice the dramatic changes made by the 41-year-old retired WWE star. Stripped of her past posts, only her bio remains, which highlights her impressive achievements as a WWE Hall of Fame member, as well as her roles as the host of Barmageddon and Twin Love. She also takes this opportunity to promote her “Nikki and Brie Show” podcast, alongside her Bonita Bonita wine brand, hinting at her continued engagement with her entrepreneurial endeavors.

Despite this drastic change, Nikki still boasts an impressive 10.5 million followers on Instagram, all of whom are eagerly anticipating her next move as she navigates life as a newly single woman. Her followers are undoubtedly curious about how she will redefine her online identity during this transformative period.

The former star of Total Bellas and Artem, 42, officially settled their divorce during a private mediation session held on November 20, as confirmed by her representative to multiple media outlets.

“Nikki and Artem have settled their divorce and will not be going to court,” her spokesperson announced to E! News. “Nikki’s No. 1 priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter. She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”

Following their divorce settlement, the couple chose to drop their respective restraining orders against each other, which they had previously filed after Artem’s arrest on domestic violence charges on August 29. These charges were ultimately dropped on September 24.

The decision to drop the restraining orders was made “in an effort to move on with their lives and effectively coparent their son,” Nikki’s representative explained to E!.

As of November 26, Artem’s Instagram page continues to feature numerous photos of Nikki, including a sentimental wedding snapshot shared to commemorate their second anniversary on August 26, just days prior to his arrest. In a heartfelt post, he expressed, “Happy anniversary my love, can’t see my life without you. You are my everything.” However, this marked the last Instagram post he made about their relationship.

The seemingly perfect marriage between the former couple took a tumultuous turn following Artem’s felony domestic violence charge, which occurred in Napa County. After being arrested, he was released later that same day on a $25,000 bail.

TMZ published an audio clip of the 911 call that initiated the police response. The dispatcher disclosed, “Initially came in as requesting medical, but now he is stating he got into an argument with his wife and his wife threw shoes at [the reporting party].” The call also indicated that a child was present on the scene, describing an ongoing disturbance.

Online records reveal that Nikki filed for divorce from Artem on September 11 in Napa Valley, California, making it clear that their relationship had reached a critical juncture.

The day following the dismissal of charges against him, Artem publicly addressed his arrest, stating, “I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped.” In his statement to E! News., he shared, “This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.”
