The resale price of some models of ‘Louis Vuitton X Nike Air Force 1’, a sneaker launched by global sports brand Nike in collaboration with French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, soared to 30 million won.

The regular Nike Air Force 1 is priced at 129,000 won.

According to Naver Recell Platform Cream on the 23rd, the immediate purchase price of ‘Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low by Virgil Abloh White Jim Green’ 260mm is 26 million won. The ‘Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low by Virgil Abloh White Comet Red’ 260mm can be purchased immediately for 27.9 million won.

The ‘Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low by Virgil Abloh White Team Royal’ 255mm can be purchased at a whopping 30 million won.

Previously, Louis Vuitton sold nine types of sneakers made in collaboration with Nike in its official online store on the 19th. It is part of the 47 Air Force 1 editions that Virgil Abloh unveiled in collaboration with Nike for Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection in June last year.

The price of these products soared seems to be due to the death of Virgil Abloh following a battle with cancer.

This edition was produced in the Louis Vuitton workshop located in Piesso d’Artico, Venice, Italy, and it was created by combining the unique sensibility of Air Force 1 with the finest leather and materials, the Louis Vuitton emblem, as well as Virgil Abloh’s outstanding visual grammar.

A collaboration product between Louis Vuitton and Nike received a lot of attention at an auction held in February. At the time, 200 collaborating products of Louis Vuitton and Nike, conducted through Sotheby’s, a global auction house, were recognized for a total value of 25 million dollars (regarding 32.6 billion won). A size 5 product, produced with only one pair, was sold for $352,800 (regarding 460 million won).
