A sports company is asking Vinicius to pay financial compensation

The American sports company, “Nike”, began asking the Brazilian star, Vinicius Junior, the striker of Real Madrid, to pay financial compensation, following the 22-year-old canceled the contract signed with it unilaterally.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo”, on Wednesday, the American sports company “Nike” obtained a ruling by the Supreme Court of Justice in Madrid, which stipulates that Vinicius Jr. must abide by his contract, which continues for the year 2028.

And she added that the young Brazilian star, Vinicius Junior, has become obligated to pay 4.5 million euros to the American sports company Nike, in the event that the Real Madrid striker insists on terminating the contract that binds him with it.

She explained that the problem between Vinicius Jr., the Real Madrid striker, and the American sports company, Nike, broke out last April, following he informed her that he would not complete the contract signed with her, which made her resort to the Spanish judiciary to collect her rights.

And she concluded that Vinicius Jr. has only two options, either to pay 4.5 million euros to the American sports company “Nike”, or to work to abide by his contract, which expires in 2028, by appearing in its advertisements and promoting its sports products.
