Actress Nihal Anbar, responsible for the health file of the Syndicate of Representative Professions, confirmed that the condition of the artist Hamdi Al-Wazir is stable so far, and he is currently in intensive care at Ain Shams Specialized Hospital.
Nihal Anbar told “Masrawy”: “His presence is in intensive care to check on him, and Dr. Imad Hussein is waiting for the next 24 hours to pass to ensure his safety and the complete success of the operation.”
And she continued, “The artist Hamdi Al-Wazir underwent an operation to change the aorta, while treating some arteries.”
Mai Al-Wazir, the daughter of the artist Hamdi Al-Wazir, revealed to Masrawy in previous statements that her father suffers from an aneurysm in the aorta, and is waiting for stents to be installed, adding: “The surgery is a big adventure, and two phones provide stents, and they are currently being prepared to enter operations.”
She explained: “The doctors see what is most appropriate for his condition so that it does not cause him complications.”
It is reported that the artist Hamdi Al-Wazir was transferred some time ago to the Ain Shams Specialized Hospital, and he was scheduled to perform a delicate surgery, but it was postponed following a number of tests were performed.
Khaled Montaser appealed to the Ministry of Culture and the Syndicate of Representative Professions to intervene in saving the artist Hamdi Al-Wazir, following he suffered a health crisis some time ago.
Montaser wrote on his official Facebook account: “The beautiful Port Said artist Hamdi Al-Wazir suffers from an aneurysm in the aorta, and the condition is critical and needs stents to stop this expansion and prevent rupture.”
He continued, “Hamdi Al-Wazir followed his theatrical career in Port Said and Cairo, which is a very rich journey that did not shed light on it, such as drama and cinema. Hamdi needs all the support from all of us, an appeal to the Ministry of Culture, the Syndicate of Actors and vascular surgeons from dear friends.”
