An internet video shows a small firework being set off in front of the Austrian team hotel in Leipzig. The ÖFB confirmed that the incident occurred at 2 a.m.
According to the report, the majority of the ÖFB delegation did not even notice it and it will not have any impact on the game itself, as the ÖFB was audibly trying not to give the incident any importance.

Austria’s team has moved into its headquarters in Berlin for the European Championships. However, the night before a match must be spent at the respective venue, which is why Ralf Rangnick’s selection was already accommodated in Leipzig from Monday to Tuesday.
