Vacation is the most wonderful time of the year. That’s what it says so often and so beautifully. But what if the luxury accommodation you were hoping for turns out to be a lousy flophouse? Or does the untouched island suddenly look more like a run-down city park? Yes, even the long-awaited vacation can end in disaster. Will things get that bad on Caro and Andreas Robens’ trip to the USA? We hope not.

However, the “Goodbye Germany” stars’ trip to the USA didn’t get off to a particularly relaxed start. At first everything looked so beautiful. Caro and Andreas Robens toasted the coming days with a glass of champagne on the plane to Los Angeles.

Unwanted roommate is waiting for the Robens

“The big adventure is finally starting. Only twelve more hours and we’re at our first stop in LA. We’re really looking forward to it,” the two vacationers wrote on Instagram.

But when she arrived on site, what awaited her was something that many people would probably see as absolute horror. The two of them were not alone in their rented house. “Shit,” swore Andreas Robens, as the Mallorca emigrant had spotted something in the curtain of the room.

A little later, the Robens decided which roommate wanted to stay with them. “Seriously had a scorpion sitting in the curtain!!!,” write the emigrants in their Instagram story and send a photo of the yellowish animal as proof.

Caro Robens: “The shock was really deep”

Caro told the Mallorca newspaper: “We rented a house in Las Vegas. Luckily he (Editor’s note: Caro means her husband Andreas) kept calm, caught him in a glass and brought him outside.

The animal is said to have been an Arizona bark scorpion. The animal’s poison causes great pain, but is not primarily fatal to humans.

But the two of them still didn’t want to stay in the house. “After that it was clear to us that we wouldn’t stay in this house overnight. The shock was really deep, as this species is not entirely harmless. “It would be unthinkable if he had caught us at night,” Caro told the “Mallorca Zeitung”.
