Lamine Yamal was one of the stars of Euro 2024, which ended with Spain winning the title. The 17-year-old Barcelona player played in all the matches of the tournament and finished the competition with one goal and four assists. During the celebration of winning the European Championship, the media drew attention to the girl who was with Yamal and his family. It was Alex Padilla, who is called a TikTok star – she is followed there by almost 200 thousand users. Until now, Yamal has not addressed the rumors and speculations surrounding his relationship with Padilla. Now, however, shocking news has appeared.

Barcelona fans, as well as fan accounts of the club, noticed on Saturday that Yamal had stopped following Padilla on Instagram. This is the result of a recording that was leaked to social media. In the video, the girl is in the company of another man – probably during a party – and is sitting on him. It is therefore very likely that the couple has already broken up. To date, there has been no official statement on the matter from Yamal, and even less from Padilla.
– Stop it, you’re going to ruin me – Padilla allegedly said during the recording. Internet users sympathize with Yamal for finding himself in such a situation. “Lamine became the youngest player to be cheated like this”, “everyone saw it and no one was surprised”, “some people are so stupid” – these are some of the comments. Yamal is currently on vacation in Marbella and will return to training with Barcelona in the second week of August, when the club will have finished its pre-season tour.
Yamal made 50 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring seven goals and providing ten assists. His current contract with Barcelona expires in June 2026. The new deal, which would be signed on his 18th birthday, would run until June 2030, with agent Jorge Mendes demanding a hefty raise for his client.
