500 motorized riflemen and marines of the Baltic Fleet take part in night firing at the firing ranges of the Kaliningrad region. This was reported in the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet on Tuesday, June 27.
For aimed fire, the soldiers use night sights and night vision devices, as well as flares. Part of the combat exercises are performed during the day. Soldiers practice tactics in defense, attack and reconnaissance. The maneuvers involved 100 units of special equipment, including armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, infantry fighting vehicles BMP-2 and BMP-3.
