Asunción, IP Agency.- With a total of 385,183 visits since its launch, the night clinics, implemented by the Ministry of Public Health in 36 hospitals throughout the country, allow emergency areas to be decongested, while facilitating access to consultations with specialists at night.
Care in this modality is carried out from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in 36 hospitals, being of utmost importance to decongest emergency areas.
Among the specialties available in the night clinics are pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, dentistry, medical clinic, traumatology and surgery. The main objective is to reduce waiting times for consultations and optimize medical assistance for those who require immediate attention.
The Ministry of Public Health encourages users of the public system to take advantage of these extended hours both for periodic check-ups and to address symptoms of illness. Guaranteeing quality medical care, even at night, seeks to improve access to health in the country.
