Asuncion, IP Agency.- With a total of 260,757 consultations carried out since their implementation, the Night Clinics offer citizens the opportunity to consult with specialist doctors at times that suit their daily activities. This service is available from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The initiative, known as “Night Clinics,” makes a significant difference in access to healthcare for citizens who find it difficult to attend the morning and afternoon shifts. Since August last year, the extended-hour specialized medical care service has been successfully implemented in 35 hospitals.
The specialties available at these clinics include pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, dentistry, medical clinic, and surgery, with the aim of meeting the medical needs of the population during extended hours. This not only helps to decongest emergency areas, but also optimizes assistance to cases requiring immediate attention and significantly reduces waiting times.
The Ministry of Health calls on the population to take advantage of these Night Clinics both for regular check-ups and for consultation in cases of symptoms of illness. The presence of specialists during these extended hours guarantees quality and timely medical care.
