Night clinics have served more than 318,000 patients almost a year after their implementation

Asuncion, IP Agency.- With a total of 318,897 cases of care provided in almost a year of its implementation in 35 hospitals of the Ministry of Public Health, the “night clinics” facilitate access to medical services for the population.

This type of care is provided from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in 35 hospitals, which is of utmost importance for decongesting emergency areas.

Specialties offered during extended hours include pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, dentistry, medical clinic and surgery. Reducing waiting times and optimizing assistance for cases requiring immediate attention are other objectives of the strategy.
