Asuncion, IP Agency.- The night clinics, which were set up in 35 hospitals across the country, received more than 279,000 patients, demonstrating that this is a significant strategy that seeks to facilitate access to medical services for the population.
A total of 279,177 consultations have already been carried out since August of last year in the “Night Clinics” of the Ministry of Public Health.
This service is available from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in 35 hospitals and is of utmost importance as it helps to relieve congestion in emergency areas.
Citizens can access consultations in key specialties such as pediatrics, gynecology, cardiology, dentistry, medical clinic and surgery during the aforementioned extended hours. Reducing waiting times and optimizing assistance for cases requiring immediate attention are other objectives of the strategy.
The Ministry of Health urges citizens to take advantage of these night clinics for both periodic check-ups and in cases of symptoms of illness. The availability of specialists during these extended hours seeks to guarantee quality medical care.
