At the end of his mission to MONUSCO (United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo), our compatriot, Mr. ADILI Toro was decorated. A decoration that recognizes the use of his skills and dedication that have enabled the institution to see its image and its reputation significantly improved in the DRC and with its partners.
During a farewell drink, organized on the occasion of the said decoration, General Mody BETETHE, head of the police component, paid him a tribute in these terms:
« We would like to thank very warmly and deeply Mr. ADILI Toro, for the availability, the professional conscience and the sincerity which he has always shown throughout his mission. During all his years spent with our firm as Head of the Information, Communication and Public Relations section of MONUSCO, he knew how to put his skills to use to improve the presence and visibility of our institution with the populations of the DRC. and all partners.
I cannot list all of his feats of arms to improve the image and notoriety of UN peacekeepers, but I do know that several of his initiatives have made it possible to improve and consolidate the visibility of the MONUSCO in a context where it was not won in advance.
Receive Mr. ADILI Toro, my congratulations for your benevolence and your qualities as an excellent communicator have enabled MONUSCO to achieve several of its objectives.
