Abuja – Nigeria, the largest country in Africa, is considering membership in the G20 confederation of the world’s most important economic powers. This is the result of consultations regarding the risks and benefits of such membership, a spokesman for President Bola Tinubu said on Sunday. Tinubu will also attend the G20 summit on September 9-10 in India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The spokesman said on Friday that Nigeria wanted to attract foreign investment and global capital for infrastructure development there.
