New Delhi: Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Rajendra Bahuguna has committed suicide following police registered a pox case once morest his daughter-in-law for sexually abusing his granddaughter. Bahuguna shot himself dead on Wednesday, three days following his daughter-in-law filed a complaint.
Following a complaint lodged by Rajendra’s son Ajay Bahuguna, the police registered a case once morest the daughter – in – law and her father for inciting suicide. Rajendra shot himself in front of a police team and neighbors.
According to the caller, the former minister was standing on top of a water tank when police arrived on the scene. He told police he was going to be shot and killed. The police team used a loudspeaker to try to persuade the former minister. However, he reiterated that the complaint once morest him was false. After talking to the police, the calm Rajendra Bahuguna was ready to go down but shot himself unexpectedly. He died at the scene.
