The 50-year-old Nicolas Ullens from Schooten has been imprisoned since the end of March. His lawyers pleaded on Tuesday for an arrangement of his detention with an electronic bracelet, but the council chamber did not accede to their request. The person concerned therefore remains in prison for at least a month.
Charged with murder and violation of the law on weapons, Nicolas Ullens de Schooten had seen, at the beginning of April, his preventive detention extended by a month by the council chamber of Walloon Brabant.
Aged 57, Nicolas Ullens de Schooten is suspected of having killed his septuagenarian mother-in-law, Baroness Guy Ullens, born Myriam Lechien, using a firearm, Wednesday March 29 in Ohain, in the Walloon Brabant entity of Lasne.
