The look for wedding personalized from the model Nicola Peltz is the culmination of a year of conversations with the creative director’s team at Valentino, Pierpaolo Piccioli, two trips to the Rome headquarters and two fittings in the US (the head seamstresses even traveled to Miami to make sure every detail was flawless on the big day). ‘It was the best Haute Couture experience,’ says Fremar of selecting elements from various sketches, fabrics and embroidery to create the Nicola’s dream dress.
What started as a look nupcial very complex changed as soon as the bride tried on the toile. ‘The simplicity was magnificent,’ recalls Leslie. ‘We didn’t have to go into too much detail dress to achieve its magnitude, so we ended up removing the embroidery’. Instead, they added french lace in handmade gloves and an exquisite train that sits on top of the dress and decorates it like ‘a work of art’. Fremar says the overall effect is ‘incredible’. On Peltz’s part, he has never felt more special.
Piccioli, who dresses Zendaya in dopamine-releasing looks, was Peltz’s first port of call. ‘It was a no-brainer,’ says Nicola, who has long admired Pierpaolo’s Haute Couture programs and wore Valentino to the 2021 Met Gala. That’s not to say that she wasn’t reduced to fangirl mode when she entered the atelier. ‘Seeing all the dresses on the runway in real life was so magical. It looked like someone’s dream closet,’ says Peltz of the bright and happy hive run by the talented and detail-oriented Italian artisans, who have been nothing but kind to the 27-year-old.

As a gift for her new husband, Peltz sewed a custom label on her Dior wedding dress. ‘Brooklyn loves labels,’ explains Nicola. ‘Two years ago, for Christmas, I packed a whole suitcase full of custom ones for him.’ These sweet touches are the mark of a couple truly in love.
‘Weddings come with a lot of emotions,’ shares Fremar. ‘There’s stress, there’s excitement, there’s nerves… There’s a lot of different energies going around. But the clothes are complete’.
