Nico Mantl moves to the Danish Superligaen, where he plays for the first division club Viborg FF a Loan contract signed until summer.
The 23-year-old German came to Salzburg from Unterhaching in January 2021 and has appeared for us eleven times since then. During the 2022/23 season, Nico Mantl played on loan in Denmark, namely at Aalborg BK.
Sports director Bernhard Seonbuchner explained:
Nico has already been to Denmark, where he had good experiences and was used regularly. We hope that this will be the case once more now and that he can develop even better.
