Nick Kyrgios causes another scandal when he wins the semifinals

Australia’s tennis star Nick Kyrgios once once more caused a scandal in the doubles semifinals of the Australian Open.

In the match with partner Thanasi Kokkinakis (Australia) once morest Marcel Granollers (Spain) and Horacio Zeballos (Argentina), the Australian bad boy showed the audience his middle finger following breaking his racquet (Here’s the scene in video).

Kyrgios had already attracted negative attention immediately before when he and his partner gave the break to Granollers/Zeballos when the score was 4:2. The 26-year-old then yelled at the fans and angrily threw away a tennis ball.

Ultimately, however, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis prevailed 7: 6, 6: 4 and are now in the doubles final of the Australia Open. There it comes to the first all-Australian final at the home Grand Slam since 1980 once morest Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell.
